As practice shows, it is not always possible to arrange the right conditions for the functioning of detectors. If we talk about the private sector, then this situation is almost the norm... Exclusion zones, the underlying surface, shrubs, fences made of corrugated sheet with significant temperature fluctuations, the operating range of the detection zone - these factors play the most important role in ensuring noise-resistant operation of detectors.
After much testing and analysis of problematic situations, it was decided to use the adaptive sensitivity mode. In this mode, the sensitivity threshold is continuously calculated based on the thermal pattern in the detection area. It is designed to a greater extent for stationary conditions, where there is usually no one in the detection area. That is, this mode is not recommended for counting passing people.
We have changed the functionality of the "FALSE IMMUNITY" jumper. Since any of the 15 sensitivity levels can be selected using the service mode, the "FALSE IMMUNITY" jumper now controls the threshold as follows: REMOVED - constant threshold (1-15), SET - adaptive threshold.
This feature has been implemented since June 2018 in the SPLAV L50RA detectors. The first customer reviews indicate an increased stability of the detectors in places with problematic conditions in the detection area.
Since November 2018, the adaptive sensitivity mode has been implemented in all models of the SPLAV infrared detectors.
