Used for detectors of the "RA2", "RA LoRa" series
Batteries based on lithium thionyl chloride (Li-SOCl2) have the best characteristics for autonomous power supply of QMS modules. These are industrial-type primary lithium batteries that provide 3.6V voltage, extended temperature range, low self-discharge and the highest energy density currently known, as well as safety and durability. QMS uses and recommends the Korean manufacturer Xenoenergy.
General Characteristics of Lithium-Thionyl chloride batteries XenoEnergy
- Open circuit voltage 3.67V
- The operating voltage is maintained until the end of the discharge
- Temperature range -55°C+85°C (there are models up to +150°C)
- Self-discharge at room temperature 1-2% per year
- Excellent shelf life: more than 15 years at room temperature
- Due to the sealed structure without high pressure, separate safety devices are not required.
Certification according to international standards: ISO9001, ISO13485, TS16949, ISO14001, UL, ROHS, WEEE
UN 38.3 certification for air transportation
